Monument to commemorate former ghetto Ghetto Gates

In 1941 the Jewish people of Panevėžys have been jailed in a ghetto between Klaipėdos, Krekenavos, J. Tilvyčio and Skerdyklos streets, where later were shot dead. To commemorate these events a monument Ghetto Gates has been built in 1993 next to the crossing between Klaipėdos and Krekenavos streets.
