Panevėžys historical photo gallery open on the site of a former canning factory

The former canning factory is one of the most striking examples of industrial architecture in the centre of Panevėžys. The red-brick building, which has stood on Kranto Street for more than a century, had long been forgotten, but today it has returned in a new and unexpected form. The building’s sealed windows have been repurposed to showcase the city’s history, and they currently display historical photographs of Panevėžys.
