“Panevėžys. Just like us” is a new urban art landmark that reflects the city’s recently introduced brand and its essence — a community shaped by its people, symbols, and the identity we create together. Created by local artist Jolita Puleikytė, the mural places the river — Panevėžys’ central symbol — at its core, with the city’s people bringing movement and energy to the scene.
The artwork brings together recognizable features of Panevėžys: the Don Quixote sculpture, historic mills, Stasys Museum, theatres, sports elements, and other cultural markers that shape the city’s character. It invites every passerby to find a piece of their own story within it and to see Panevėžys through a renewed, collective lens — as a place shaped by all of us.
