Panevėžys Music Theatre

The tradition of musical performances in Panevėžys has existed since the beginning of the 20th century when after lifting the ban of the Lithuanian press, cultural and national awareness of society started waking up. The music theatre offers musical performances of world classic theatre repertoire. Professional singers, directors, and other artists from Lithuania and other countries get invited to take on the lead roles.
