Museum of christmas decorations

A real paradise of Christmas enthusiasts – a museum housing a collection of 4,000 Christmas attributes. Its history began in 2010 with Violeta Karklytė, the librarian of Miežiškiai town, who came with the idea of hosting an exhibition called Remembering a Childhood Christmas Tree. Locals donated over 200-holiday attributes, but the idea only grew along with the exhibition. The exhibition now includes not only Lithuanian, but also German and Ukrainian Christmas joys: Christmas tree ornaments, garlands, masks, snowmen, snowflakes, and other festive items.
